Morning Session one
- Opening Lecture
- Body Language - Don't be a target
- Various ways to fall - not only to avoid being hurt but to escape
- Learning about your Inner Strengths and learning about Chi energy
- Evasive techniques - Escaping from your attacker
- 15 min Break
- Blocking techniques - How to avoid being struck, even by a stronger person
- Escape from strangles and chokes whilst standing
- Escape from ground strangles - how to escape when pinned to the floor
Lunch Break 1 hour
Afternoon Session Two
- Basic locks - to allow time to escape
- Placing and holding the attacker safely on the ground
- Defence against weapons - avoid and evade weapons
- Fighting back utilising safe striking techniques with minimal force
- 15 min Break
- Advanced techniques –preventing an attacker continuing an attack.
- How to control an attacker without inflicting injury
- Circle practice - dealing with numerous attackers
- Course conclusion - putting everything together
